The Burpham Yurt is available for hire at a rate of £12 per hour (discounted by 10% for Burpham Wellbeing Members)

Booking slots must cover set-up and set down times and users are expected to keep the yurt clean and tidy. Equipment for this is provided.

Regular bookings can be seen on the weekly schedule (below) and all bookings can be accessed on this google calendar.

Request to book the yurt by set up a meeting in your own calendar and invite burphamwellbeing@gmail.com to attend.  When the invitation is accepted your booking is confirmed.  As you set up the meeting you can invite others, request time changes and cancel if you need to.  If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice you will be charged.

NB This is a PUBLIC CALENDAR so please do not put any personal / client information on it.

Anyone using the yurt must be insured for all activities they run there and provide all associated documents in advance of hire.  Please provide these in advance of your first booking and resubmit them when they renew.

Access to the yurt is through the side of the property accesible via Briar Close.  Please advise your clients to use that way in and make sure they watch this video before they come. We are not insured to have your participants enter through the front gate and garden.

The yurt has 2 double power sockets available and lights, music through Alexa and heating is supplied.  The electric rings run to a 3Watt max and any 3rd party electrical equipment must be PAT tested. 

Wifi is also available and the password is in the yurt for ease of reference.

The keys to the yurt and the toilet, accesible through the side door to the house, are held together in a key safe.

The yurt has 9 yoga mats, 9 meditation chairs, cushions and bolsters.
